A swift guide to several of the most famous soccer kits aroundHave a look at the free content underneath as we examine just a few of the most celebrated soccer clubs and the legendary strips that they play the sport in.
When considering famous football kits, the most legendary of them all belongs to perhaps one of the most excellent teams to ever play the game. The all-white Real Madrid kit is genuinely famous. Since its establishment in 1902, the Spanish club has consistently played in the iconic all-white strip – except for one year where its home kit included black shorts (that project was done away with just one year later). Seeing as the side is perhaps the best club in the world, it should come as no great shock that their kit is so different to all the others – a point that the Real Madrid president undoubtedly likes. The club’s away colours are generally purple or blue but undoubtedly, its enthusiasts and general football supporters around the world will still link the club with the regal white strip. After all, some of the world’s finest players have put on the iconic kit.
Soccer kits come in all assorted forms and some are more identifiable than others. Take AC Milan for instance. The red and black stripes are synonymous with the magnificent Italian team. Furthermore, many different teams all over Europe (and the globe) play football in the red and black stripes, but no person will think of any of them before the Italian giant. A detail that the new AC Milan owner is unquestioningly very pleased with. Though not the power it once was, the club continues to be one of the top 10 football clubs in the world, and the red and black colours have been utilised by the club since it was first founded in 1899. They were apparently selected to signify the players' fiery passion (with the red) and the opponents' fear to challenge the club (with the black). There is no doubt soccer supporters will ever mistake the red and black stripes for being any other squad.
One of the most supported football clubs in England, a very wonderful detail for the Chelsea FC owner no doubt, plays in royal blue. The all-blue strip got to be tremendously distinguished in the last 10 years or so, when Chelsea got to such prosperous heights that it had not seen before. Developed in 1905, the club has consistently played in blue. But, in its initial years it played in a much lighter blue and the all-blue kit was only introduced in the 1960s. The club is going through a bit of a transition phase at present after years of dominance, but specialists think that there is no doubt the team will have the ability to rise to the top once again and its supporters will delight in watching players in the iconic royal blue lifting trophies once more.
